Welcome! The Maryland Advancement of Cannabis Political Action Committee is sponsored by the Maryland Medical Dispensary Association. The MAC PAC solicits voluntary contributions from individuals or corporations to assist elected officials and candidates for public office in the state of Maryland who will promote the common interests and goals of medical cannabis dispensaries in Maryland.
WHY DO WE NEED A MARYLAND ADVANCEMENT OF CANNABIS PAC?
The cannabis industry is a fast-growing segment of the Maryland economy and all medical cannabis dispensaries in Maryland are highly regulated by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission of the state government. The economic well-being of Maryland medical cannabis dispensaries and the health and well-being of the patients they serve is a function of the political process.
Therefore, we advocate for laws, regulations and public policies that foster a professional medical cannabis industry in Maryland which addresses the needs and concerns of medical cannabis patients and medical dispensaries. It is essential to the health and growth of the medical cannabis dispensary industry in Maryland that we do the important work to educate our elected officials as well as work with those who support the vital interests of Maryland medical dispensaries and they patients they serve.
The Maryland Advancement of Cannabis Political Action Committee benefits you by:
- Educating politicians on the issues facing the medical cannabis industry and medical cannabis dispensaries in Maryland including the challenges and concerns of medical cannabis patients.
- Holding lawmakers accountable for their actions and supporting lawmakers that support policy positions that benefit Maryland medical cannabis dispensaries.
- Extending your personal influence to politicians.
